    JOB TYPE:
    Full-time (5 days on / 2 days off rotation)
    Ensure all supply chain activities achieve high levels of efficiency and effectiveness to maintain smooth operation
    Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement the overall supply strategy and objectives
    Manage the strategic purchasing process end-to-end, including spend analysis, needs identification, product/service research, negotiation, and risk/opportunity evaluation
    Oversee the tactical purchasing process for equipment, capital goods, and services
    Maintain purchasing policies, standards, processes, and procedures
    Prepare and monitor supply service performance indicators
    Participate in supply contract renewals and negotiations
    Maintain regular contact with departments for coordination of purchases and support in problem resolution
    Provide work objectives and performance expectations to achieve business plans and production goals
    Ensure training is in line with current and future mine requirements
    University degree in a field related to supply management. Candidates with a college diploma in supply management or a certificate from the Canadian Supply Chain Management Association (CSCMA) will be considered based on relevant experience
    Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience in purchasing, logistics, supply chain in an industrial company, including five (5) years in a strategic management position
    Proficiency in French and English (written and spoken)
    Proficiency in Office suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
