2. OBJECTIVES_
-
2.1 Job Summary_

Warehouse Supervisors are generally responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items. In addition, they are responsible for securing the warehouse as well as supervising staff.


2.2 Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Escalate customer issues to the manager quickly when necessary
  • Assist with planning for new customer implementations
  • Participate in conference calls and meetings when necessary
  • Demonstrate tact and diplomacy when communicating directly with a customer representatives
Support the Operations Manager in adhering to financial obligations:

  • Balancing overtime/agency use
  • Staff planning to avoid excess overtime expenses
  • Maintain time and attendance system for agency and fulltime staff daily following policies and procedures
  • And other

Manage Staff:

  • Manage the performance of all reports
  • Ensure adequate training of staff
  • Support and guide the growth and development of direct reports
  • Deal with performance issues and consult with the Administration Manager guidance for on complex issues
  • And Other

Warehouse Operations:

  • Follow programs implemented to ensure the efficient and costeffective operation and utilization of the facility
  • Oversee all warehouse services including receiving, storing, shipping, and handling returned damaged goods maintenance, and administrative activities to ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient manner
  • Keep teams up to date with daily operations issues, priorities, etc
  • Comply with all Quality, Health, Safety and Security programs to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment and property
  • Comply with all applicable quality and regulatory requirements of Health Canada and other applicable authorities and client requirements are met
  • Strive for continuous improvements in all facets of warehouse operations
  • Prepare accurate and timely reports regarding warehouse operations
  • IN collaboration with Operations manager, keep warehouse supplies stocked and reordered when needed using costsaving methods when available

3.0 Job Profile_


3.1 Professional experience required

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain management is preferred.

3.3 Skills required:


  • Strong customer orientation and problemsolving skills
  • Proven proficiency in an automated warehouse environment, working knowledge of WMS technologies and Warehouse Distribution environment
  • Ability to communicate with others effectively
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work various shifts when required
  • Good decisionmaking skills and response to highpressure situations
  • Ability to conduct research for special projects, respond to timely inquiries, and present written/ oral briefings
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities

Salary:
$57,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
