JOB SUMMARY


Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to, the leadership of Quality Assurance production support, corrective action process and the Cambridge Quality Management system in accordance with IATF and customer requirements.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Quality Manager to develop the Quality Management System and maintain the QMS in accordance with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 and all customer specific requirements.
  • Lead the internal and external/customer audit processes in accordance with ISO 9001/IATF 16949, and customer specific requirements.
  • Train Supervisors on quality process requirements s (i.e. tagging, NCR process, hold tags, inspection, check fixtures, etc). Support the quality training of production team members (ie R/I, Dock audit, inspection, check fixtures, etc).
  • Review customer satisfaction indicators (ie RMA's, EPC) and facilitate problem solving to support improvements.
  • Lead Quality team members (QE's, Jr QE's) in the support daily operation needs and follow through with disposition of HOLD and RMA material in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Quality Engineers where needed in the ppap process.
  • Facilitate the corrective action system, including customer complaint liaison and responses. This includes the championship of NCR's as assigned by Quality Manager, and the followup of the corrective action status with other champions. Customer visits required to support resolution to both informal/formal customer's complaints.
  • WBR/MBR report data collection for review with Quality Manager, as well as back up presenter.
  • Maintain the use of ShowBiz TV to communicate updated information to operational team.
  • Practice and promote all aspects of the ISO/ IATF 16949 Quality System and Health & Safety policies.
  • Promote Safe Operations works and if required, assists or directs/manages others to perform work only if it can be done so that no work site accident or illness results from any operational activity.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Three or more year's automotive experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Trained internal auditor for IATF, with core tools training. Lead auditor would be an asset.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to operate PC based software.
