Expectations

  • Contributes to a stressfree environment and conduct oneself with professionalism at all times
  • Follow and adhere to policies, procedures, and safety procedures including review and development of procedures and JSA's
  • Attend regular safety meetings and assist where needed
  • Maintain and foster new and existing clients
  • Hand in and complete all required paper work
  • Be able to work in a supervisory role on various tasks and projects when instructed and required
  • Report all near misses, incidents, and accidents in accordance with all policies and procedures including driving infractions that occur on personal time
  • Ensure all equipment requiring maintenance is reported and tagged out
  • Ensure project manager is aware of potential scheduling, employee, and potential problems
  • Clean shaven and fit for work
  • Wear all required PPE including, but not limited to 4 head monitors, FR Coveralls, hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, and steel toed boots
  • Maintain good housekeeping at all times in the shop, office, vehicles, equipment, and yard
  • Maintain respect with all clients, coworkers, and the general public
  • Operate all equipment safely, professionally, and in accordance with the operating manual
  • Detail paid to every aspect of the project to complete on time, in budget, safely, incident free, and according to design and client expectations
  • Go above and beyond to ensure repeat business and a positive client feedback
  • Complete safety training as required by company, clients, and OH and S
  • Complete daily maintenance, greasing, fueling, and cleaning
  • Mentor junior staff
  • Read and interpolate drawings, be able to prepare material take offs, and quantities
  • Utilize survey equipment to do various tasks

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Lloydminster, SK S9V 2B7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Class 5 Licence (preferred)
