    Business Analyst

    Reporting to the Program Manager, Special Project you will be responsible for managing and executing projects in the portfolio through a consistent, controlled, and transparent process.

    Here is what a typical day looks like


    • Soliciting, documenting, tracking and delivering on project requirements (both business and technical)

    • Supporting in the planning and defining the project scope and that deliverables align within the overall context of the project

    • Partner with the Project Manager, providing communications plans, describing the format, formality, and frequency of communicating business analysis deliverables to and from key stakeholders

    • Employ a variety of methods to solicit necessary requirements from the business and end users

    • Focus on drafting clear, concise requirements documentation inclusive of business, project management, and delivery requirements

    • Develop comprehensive testing strategies and test scripts, gaining appropriate sign-off as needed

    • Facilitate workflow analysis sessions followed up with the creation of all process workflows related to the project

    • Understand the needs and requirements of the business to deliver services that meet the customer requirements

    • University degree/diploma in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

    • 5+ years of experience in a similar or comparable role

    • Designation such as PBA- PMI, CCBA or CBAP, Lean Six Sigma or pursuing one

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills

    • Good organizational planning and prioritization skills

    • Strong analytically with the ability to problem solve and make sound decisions

    • Excellent written communication with strong attention to detail

    Hours: 37.5 hours/week (contract)
