  • What Is the Opportunity?
  • This position is part of the national Travelers Investigative Services organization and is responsible for conducting reviews on multi line claims generated by the predictive fraud models. This role performs research through utilization of internal and external data resources to determine if the claim has suspicion of fraud in order to make the recommendation that the claim should be referred for regional investigation.
What Will You Do?

  • Proactively analyze, monitor and leverage technical claim information to identify potential fraud patterns and trends to be more effective in the identification of claims to recommend for referral.
  • Develops and fosters relationships with Claim Professionals and Investigative Services partners, including Regional Directors.
  • Provides insight and details to support findings while reviewing with investigators, claim professionals and management.
  • Accurately and thoroughly document findings, observations and recommendation for each file reviewed.
  • Provides clear, specific and candid feedback to the technical model building team as part of the enhancement and improvement of the analytical models.
  • Tracks and evaluates trends in data and information. These trends are shared with the technical model building team and management.
  • Directs information in realtime to appropriate system or staff.
  • Provides coaching and feedback to claim professionals and claims management on the nature and quality of referrals.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills to use and interpret information and facts.

What is a Must Have?

  • A minimum of 2 years of investigative experience required or a minimum of 2 years insurance claim related experience in at least one line of business, i.e., Auto Physical Damage, Accident Benefits, Bodily Injury, Property, General Liability, required.
