A well established, premium Millwork company, producing a wide mix of commercial and custom residential projects, is looking for a
Project Manager with experience in architectural millwork and cabinetry.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, team player that can work closely with Production/Installation to quote, measure, create quality CAD drawings and manage projects from the design stage to on-site installation.
The Project Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of custom projects including confirming scope of work, creating and managing schedules and budgets, liaising with customers, contractors and employees, conducting field assessments, measurements and drawings as needed, holding hand-off meetings, ordering all materials especially long lead and specialty items early, identifying and submitting change orders, handle and manage on-site coordination with installers, contractors and subs, and ensuring customer expectations are met.
To fully qualify for and be successful in this position you must have:_
- A minimum of 23 years experience in architectural millwork or cabinet project management
- Prior experience as a journeyman cabinetmaker/millworker.
- Must be proficient with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
- Full understanding of architectural blueprints/drawings.
- Knowledgeable in joinery methodologies/procedures used in millwork and cabinet construction.
- Capacity to develop, schedule and manage multiple projects on time and on budget.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Selfmotivated, organized, and possess strong decisionmaking, analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude and exceptional time management skills.
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards and preventative maintenance programs.
- Experience designing, drawing and editing using AutoCAD
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to coordinate and work effectively in a team setting with all levels of employees, contractors and clients to achieve results.
