  • What Is the Opportunity?
  • The Travelers Canada Co-Op Program provides qualified students with an excellent opportunity to gain firsthand experience, receive valuable onthejob training and learn more about the property & casualty insurance industry. Co-Op students receive challenging work assignments in Auto Physical Damage that add value and impact the organization.
What Will You Do?

  • Each Co-Op student will be expected to complete challenging and meaningful work over the course of this program.
  • Learn about the insurance industry, different lines of business, interact with a variety of talented leaders from the Claim Organization and more
  • Learn and understand effective strategies for handling an Auto Physical Damage Claim.
  • Develop knowledge of the Ontario Auto Policy (OAP 1) and the Ontario Insurance Act.
  • Interaction with all levels of management.
  • Networking opportunities.
  • Competitive compensation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • We are most interested in students who are serious about entering the insurance industry and who are excited about the prospect of making Claims their future career choice.
  • Students who are serious about entering the insurance industry is preferred.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above preferred.
  • Students completing their final or 3rd year is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
What is a Must Have?

  • Must be pursuing postsecondary diploma or degree
  • Legally eligible to work in the Canada.
