department in Montreal.**

Your main tasks will be to:

  • Follow up on customer road transport requests.
  • Research carriers to meet customer needs and find competitive rates.
  • Meet tight deadlines with customers to avoid losing proposed rates.
  • After obtaining customer approval, confirm bookings with carriers and customers, and complete the contractual documents required to this effect.
  • If necessary, coordinate with the Canada Customs Department (CHB) or the U.S. Customs Brokers.
  • Prior to shipment departure, crossvalidate all information concerning the transport of goods with the shipper and consignee to avoid unforeseen additional charges down the line (to ensure excellent customer service).
  • Follow up with the carrier during road transport and communicate information to the customer (to ensure excellent customer service).
  • Ensure proper electronic document management in files under your responsibility
  • Participate in the marketing development of the Road Transport Division by soliciting customers on a monthly basis to obtain new mandates.
  • Perform any other related tasks

What we are looking for:


  • You are bilingual in French and English in order to be able to communicate with your future colleagues and clients based throughout Canada and the world.
  • You have 7 to 10 years experience in road transportation, OTR or container.
  • You are a team player, proactive, problem solving
  • You know how to use Cargowise, TMS, Excel, Outlook
