Paragon Security is hiring Police Foundations and related law enforcement graduates for "Full-Time Tactical Security Guard" are looking to start their career in Security Industry who are looking to advance their career toward Law enforcement

Position: Full Time, Permanent - Tactical Security Patrol Guard

Reporting to: Shift / Site Supervisor and Paragon Client Service Manager/Director

Location:Toronto, Downtown region properties

Schedule: 12 hours Continental Rotation Schedule of Days and Nights

Hours: 84 hours biweekly

Salary: $20.40 to per hour

Qualifications:

Valid Ontario Security Guard License:

Physical Demands:
excessive walking, standing for 8 to 12 hours:

Previous Security Guard experience is considered an asset.
Excellent Customer Service and aboveaverage computer skills
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
Must demonstrate high attention to detail / observational awareness
Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence and the ability to work productively and efficiently in a team

Working Conditions

Required to work, if necessary, various rotating shifts on short notice and be available for work in a 24x7x365 environment.
Must be able to stand and walk for long period.
Could be exposed to hazardous situations and conditions when responding to or managing emergencies or incidents.

Major Responsibilities:

Monitor CCTV surveillance systems
Maintain a detailed memo book and prepare incident reports on all matters dealt with
Obtain statements and collect information for Incident
Logging in/out of Key, Radio, and pager audits
Handle Lost & Found items and inquiries
Report any unsafe working conditions in any/all departments
Ability to deescalate a crisis situation, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including police, fire, and paramedic resources.
Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner so as not to create panic among the onsite public
Respond to all emergency response needs such as providing first aid, missing persons, etc.
Ensure that the property is safe by ensuring all security measures are functioning properly.
