Position Overview:

Experience:

Experience working with membership computer software preferred; basic computer skills essential.
Previous experience answering phones and responding to customer inquiries in a reception desk setting preferred; experience answering phones in a customer service setting is essential.
Minimum 1 year experience in a sales based customer service setting preferred.
Leadership experience would be an asset.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate):

Grade XI, required.

Certification/Licensure/Registration:

Qualifications and Skills:

Strong communications skills, with a good command of the English language.
Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
Flexibility and independence in assessing situations and making effective decisions.
Ability to deal effectively with conflict is essential.
A friendly and outgoing personality that supports a customer service setting.
Provide a positive, friendly, and welcoming environment for members and visitors.

Physical Requirements:

Good physical health to meet the demands of the position (standing for lengthy periods of time, lifting/moving tables and stacks of chairs, approximately 35 lbs).

This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective agreement.
