DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Collaboration with the various practitioners including Athletic Therapists, Mental Health Performance and Nutritionist.
  • Ability to create and program individualized training plans for players.
  • Create and implement rehabilitation and sport injury programming. This will include both preoperative and postoperative interventions.
  • Utilization of performancebased technology and implementation of the information to enhance player development.
  • Present at all practices, games (including away) and team events.
  • Instruct warmup and cooldown routines at both practices and games.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:


  • University degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics.
  • Minimum CSCS certification in good standing with the NSCA.
  • Preferred experience working in professional sport, or work with national or varsity athletes.
  • Hockey experience is an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Valid CPR or First Aid equivalent.
