About The Role

The Team Leader, Pharmacy assists in supervising pharmacy operations to ensure study timelines are met by ensuring handling of Investigational products, controlled substances and inventory is conducted as per study protocol, GCP and SOPs.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • The Team Leader, Pharmacy will assist in performing quality control review of documentation pertaining to pharmacy operations including Investigational Medicinal Product (IMP), Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) and Controlled Substances, labeling, and IMP/API and Controlled Substances sample handling and inventory.
  • Supports management in assuring quality within the pharmacy team.
  • Perform the reception, labeling, storage, dispensing, shipping, sterile preparation of IP/NIPs, accountability and inventory of IP/NIPs.
  • Comply with study blinding and randomization when handling and/or dispensing IPs.
  • Perform training to employees on study specific dosing procedures.
  • Assist in the resolution of pharmacy related queries.
  • Represent the Pharmacy department in internal and external meetings.
  • Act as the Randomization Officer.
  • Act as a A/QPIC for Controlled Substances and assists in maintaining the permanent Inventory to ensure compliance with the pharmacy dealer license limitation.
  • Supports QPIC in the Import/Export process when controlled substances are to be imported/Exported for a trial.
  • Schedule, coordinate and participate in the dispensing of IP material, release IMP for dosing and QC source data as required
What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Attentive to details
  • Good communication (both written and verbal in French & English).
