Summary:

A growing and well-established manufacturing and distribution company is seeking a Shipper/Receiver for their St. Catharines facility.

This position is a unique opportunity to work in a manufacturing company that assembles and repairs pool liners and covers.

The Shipper/Receiver will operate the tow motor and reach truck to prepare orders for shipment and put away goods from deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift and reach truck.
• Loading/unloading and shipping/receiving duties as required throughout the facility.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips, record shortages and reject damaged goods.
• Picking and packing of orders, creating paperwork and labels, arranging pickups and deliveries.
• Work with manufacturing to ensure they have the required materials for production.
• Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools.

Qualifications:

• Experience of 1+ years operating forklift and reach truck.
• Forklift and reach truck license.
• Experience of 1+ years in manufacturing/warehouse type environment.
• Knowledge of how to set up and operate hand and power tools.
• Knowledge and experience of manufacturing/warehouse principles and capable of a variety warehouse tasks and other simple factory operations.
• Prior pool industry experience is a plus.

Compensation:
$21.00-$23.00 per hour (based on experience)
