We are hiring a hardworking Line Cook to cook our food. You will prepare and cook a variety of delicious meals in our kitchen.Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food in accordance with menu.
- Prepare meat, poultry and seafood for cooking.
- Maintain kitchen in a clean state and follow all sanitary measures.
- Prepare food orders in a timely manner according to established standards.
- Prepare items for presentation.
- Coordinate duties with team members.
- Comply with health, safety and welfare requirements as outlined in applicable legislation.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week
Salary:
$15.00-$17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
- Tips
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dartmouth, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
