Position Overview

The Compliance Program Specialist will be assigned to the National Insurance Program to assist

the BELFOR locations in maintaining brand integrity. They will achieve successful electronic

job files per specific client standards and BELFOR requirements. The Compliance Program

Specialist will conduct monthly performance meetings with the BELFOR locations and track

office performance. The Compliance Program Specialist acts as a liaison between BELFOR

team members, the Director of Compliance and Insurance partners.

Job Duties

  • Provide compliance training to the BELFOR locations via in person or virtual sessions.
  • Provide assistance for the BELFOR locations on completing electronic communication
  • Provide assistance for the BELFOR locations on maintaining scorecard results for estimate
submission and maintain adequate communication with Insurance partners.

  • Tracking of accolades vs. escalations to be documented internally and shared with the
Insurance Carrier partners.

  • Maintain updates and communication with assigned partners to avoid escalations.
  • Provide National realtime data reporting to carriers involving Catastrophe volume and claim
status.

  • Manage escalations from client partners and adjusters to track solutions to the escalations.
  • Ability to work with functional groups and different levels of employees throughout the
BELFOR organization.

  • Assist BELFOR locations on requalification paperwork.
  • Assist with department goals and support.
  • Limited travel: account conferences, field meetings, and client meetings.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the principles and practices of customer service.
  • Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
  • Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people's property and
information.

  • Will practice good housekeeping at all times to ensure a safe and noncluttered worksite.
  • Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows
all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe

operation of machines and equipment.

  • Comply with all BELFOR policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements.
  • Attend all BELFOR sponsored training courses.

Qualifications:


  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • High School Diploma
  • Ability to communicate with internal employees and external customers.
  • Strong followup skills; ability to organize applicable job timelines and follow up with internal
and external contacts as needed.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills; including the ability to present ideas and
suggestions clearly and effectively.

  • Strong organization skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within agreed upon
timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast paced

environment.

  • Selfmotivated; ability to work independently to complete tasks, and respond to client
requests.

  • Teamwork; Ability to collaborate with others to utilize resources and knowledge in
identifying high quality solutions.

Physical Demands

  • Occasional lifting from 540 lbs., unassisted (from 015% of the time)
  • Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending, and kneeling
  • Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks
