    Description
    We are hiring a Chef de Partie

    The primary role of the Chef De Partie is to assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen. The Chef de Partie operates with a high level of professionalism in performing duties and provides guidance to associates to ensure that standards and procedures in the kitchen are being adhered to. The Chef de Partie also communicates effectively with colleagues and guests throughout the hotel to optimize highest levels of positive dining experiences.

    Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the operations of the kitchen
  • Assist in training and developing line associates
  • Ensure food quality and presentation standards are met consistently
  • Responsible for inventory control and stocking
  • Ensure staff are on shift and call-in staff to cover for an absentee staff
  • Assign duties
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment
  • Assist in promotion of specials and contests
  • May be required to input payroll and assist with scheduling.
  • Ensure safe and friendly environment.
  • Ensure that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
  • Working with the Chef to ensure that quality is consistently high.
  • Communicate with the restaurants and banquets
  • Participate in departmental meetings
  • Ensures food safety and hygiene standards are being adhered to at all times
  • Any other duties as assigned
  • Must be able to work unrestricted hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
