Who We Are:
Squamish Nation consists of 23 villages and is comprised of descendants of the Coast Salish Aboriginal people who live in the present-day Greater Vancouver area, Gibson's Landing, and Squamish River watershed.
As an organization, we provide support to the greater Squamish Nation Community through service. With 12 departments with individual areas of expertise, we ensure Community Members have access to necessary programs and services.
About The Opportunity:
Working as an integral part of the Ta na wa Ns7éyx̱nitm ta Snew̓iyelh Language and Cultural Affairs Department, this position has a proficient command of Squamish language and is responsible for a full-time teaching schedule.

- Maintains composure in highpressure situations.
- Able to disseminate complex information to stakeholders.
- Fluent speaker of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Sníchim beyond level being taught.
- Resourceful and organized with excellent time management abilities.
- Able to deliver information with tact and diplomacy.
- Acts ethically and with the highest degree of confidentiality.
- Teamoriented with a positive, approachable attitude.
Salary:
$ 53,456 - $ 59,624 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program.
