Position: Operations Coordinator @ Shop Makers
Hours: 36/week
Wage: $53,000-$58,000 plus end of year bonus
Benefits: Extended health benefits, 3 weeks paid vacation (prorated to start date), half day Fridays year round

Why This Role Matters
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day execution of retail operations and facilities management across all stores. This role ensures existing locations are supported, stocked, maintained, and operationally efficient.
This is a highly organized, detail-oriented role that supports rapid retail growth by managing backend systems, vendor coordination, store requests, and data infrastructure. The Operations Coordinator enables Regional Managers to focus on people leadership by owning the operational backend.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Moves & Project Execution
- Lead store relocation projects from planning through completion
- Coordinate vendors, timelines, logistics, and communication with retail teams and Operations Enablement Manager
- Track budgets and flag risks to the Operations Manager
- Support new store opening execution as directed
Store Supply Management
- Order wholesale products for stores as requested
- Manage store supply ordering and replenishment processes
- Manage branded bag distribution to stores; coordinate bulk orders and track usage across locations
Utilities & Vendor Account Management
- Manage utilities accounts across all retail locations
- Set up accounts for new stores and transfer services for relocations
- Maintain vendor database and contact documentation
Maintenance & Store Support
- Action maintenance requests from store teams
- Coordinate trades and service providers for repairs and improvements
- Ensure timely resolution of facility-related issues
Retail Data & Systems Management
- Own retail backend spreadsheets and operational trackers
- Maintain accuracy of store data, vendor logs, and reporting documents
- Build and improve operational dashboards
- Become internal expert in Paperform, Zapier (or similar automation tools), and workflow optimization
Office Coordination
- Manage office supplies, kitchen inventory, and ordering
- Support onboarding logistics (desk setup, access, etc.)
- Handle mail and general office administration as needed
RETAIL SALES SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Proven experience in process improvement & project management
- 2+ years of experience in an operations-focused role
- Business administration proficiency a plus
- Highly skilled in Google Suite (google sheets, docs, slides)
- High understanding of technical systems (Asana, Paperform, Zapier, etc.)
