**Job Description**:

- recommend software related system level solutions for capability, deficiencies, and changes to equipment and specifications;
- prepare the planning and procurement support documentation for software and tools;
- review, analyze, and provide recommendations relating to software components and associated documentation;
- conduct design, technical, and management reviews to monitor, advise, and report on progress and potential problems; conduct and/or witness software integration testing and evaluation;
- conduct technical definition studies and options analysis;
- perform any other work related to this category.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree or College diploma in networking, software, computer, systems, electrical, or a suitable engineering or technical field
- Experience planning, configuring, employing and managing command and control communication and information systems in a distributed platform environment withing a client/server environment
- Experience in identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex communication and information systems
- Experience in developing and documenting system management solutions (tools and processes) for command-and-control communication and information systems in mobile platforms or within a client/server environment
- Communicating information technology framework/ strategies to management and technical staff
- Perform strategic, operational, or tactical planning for projects or systems to meet corporate strategy
- Canadian Army Signals experience (Desired)

Possible Tools & Tech experience:

- Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio)
- C++, Java, Linux, or other computer languages (Desired)
- SAFe certification or equivalent Agile Sw dev Methodology (Desired)

Additional Information
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government secret clearance
