Job summary
The Vancouver Coastal Health is looking for a Clinical Psychologist to join the Transitional Pain Clinic at Vancouver General Hospital. The job involves providing psychological services to clients in pain who have had surgery or trauma services at any VCH hospital in the past 4 months and are at risk of developing Chronic Post-Surgical Pain (CPSP) and long-term opioid use.The job also involves working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team, completing psychological assessments, providing psychological treatment, evaluating the effectiveness and appropriateness of treatment,
and facilitating education of clients.
Maintain client records including the documentation of client diagnosis and most effective form of treatment.
