Working for the Department/Faculty


We are a laboratory in the Department of Chemistry that develops new drug delivery vehicles, investigates the chemical origins of life, and synthesizes artificial cells.


Position

Duties

  • Place orders for the laboratory and take care of basic organization
  • Run titration and kinetic measurements
  • Fit and analyze data
  • Generate lipid nanoparticles
  • Collect NMR spectra
  • Collect LC-MS data

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSc from a science program
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Ability to cooperate and work within a team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize work effectively
  • Comfort with data fitting software

Preferred Qualifications

  • MSc from a science program
  • Experience in quantitative data analysis
  • Experience working with vesicles or lipid nanoparticles
  • Experience with analytical or spectroscopic techniques
  • Experience with confocal Raman microscopy
