    Description:

    The Project Manager is a provincial role, reporting to the Director, Improving Health Outcomes Together (IHOT) within the Quality and Healthcare Improvement (QHI) portfolio. They play an integral role in supporting IHOT in achieving the organizations' quality and safety objectives at both the strategic and provincial levels, as well as at the zone and site operational level. The Project Manager:Provides hands on project management support as needed through all phases of the project lifecycle in partnership with project teams.Provides project management support for initiatives in the scope of clinical appropriateness for projects prioritized by IHOT, Right Care Alberta, and AHS. Ensures clear communication channels regarding progress updates, key performance indicator reporting, risk escalation, etc. with key partners related to individual projects.Effectively manages a project and its actions from creation to completion including the display of the outcomes key performance indicators.Holds project team accountable to actions in a timely, concisely planned manner.

    Required Qualifications:

    A baccalaureate degree is required.

    Masters degree preferred in a health related area and/or business or other equivalent preparation. A combination of related experience and education may be considered.
