(bci) is looking for a highly organized, dedicated and creative individual to fill the position of Marketing and Operations Coordinator.

This exciting role will appeal to a self-motivated, highly organized and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a flexible and fast-paced environment.


The Marketing and Operations Coordinator will support a small team at a leading diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) consulting firm.

This role will be responsible for project management and administrative tasks related to managing marketing and operations for the following brands:


  • Ritu brand: a personal development platform that provides empowerment tools and strategies to women, People of Color and others who want to live their best and experience belonging
- bhasin consulting inc: A leading DEI consulting firm that provides clients with a range of cutting-edge training, speaking, advisory, coaching and e-learning strategies


Features of the Position:


  • The Marketing and Operations Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Operations (DOO) and the CEO and Founder
  • Employee hours — fulltime hours during regular work hours (up to 44 hours per week)
  • We currently offer a hybrid work model that includes both remote and inperson (downtown Toronto)
  • Compensation — competitive with market (salary and possibility of incentive/performance bonus); medical and dental benefits
  • Technology — You'll need access to a smartphone and WIFI at home. All other technology will be provided

Marketing - Responsibilities of the Role:

Website Management

  • Update and maintain both company websites on a weekly basis, including cyber security, SEO and content management
  • Schedule all blog and video posts across both websites
  • Work with the CEO to create digital campaigns and web assets

Social Media/Content Creation

  • In collaboration with and guidance from the CEO, create and execute a range of content for both brands, including social media posts, videos, photographs/images, graphics, blogs, newsletters, website copy, elearning modules and other digital products, based on a provided strategy
  • Video creation — create and execute videos for Instagram, YouTube and TikTok
  • Photography — capture photos for content calendar and manage photo directory
  • Mailing lists — create and execute content for mailing lists, including analyzing performance data
  • Schedule and publish all social media content across all channels for both brands

Design

  • Create digital and print materials for both brands, including:
  • Designing and creating visual concepts for social media content, video assets, e-worksheets, mailing list content, programming documents, lead magnets, event flyers and more
  • Act as bci's brand champion and ensure branding is accurate and up to date across all content, documents, assets and digital platforms for both brands

Events

  • Assist with project management of inperson and virtual events including scheduling, managing communications, registration/ticket sales, providing assistance during sessions, etc.
  • Create all design assets for events including info cards, banners, video thumbnails, handouts, etc.

Operations - Responsibilities of the Role:

Administrative Tasks

  • Manage all marketing administrative tasks including mailing lists, testimonials, document creation and upkeep, vendor outreach, etc.
  • Maintain and update marketing documents
  • Manage key aspects of office operations to ensure efficient operational processes, including:
  • Create and update procedures documents
  • Improve and maintain digital and physical filing systems and storage
  • Improve and maintain records in OneDrive for accuracy
  • Accounts Receivable:
  • Create invoices for upcoming engagements on a weekly basis or as needed
  • Pull reports to ensure all clients have been invoiced and have paid provide weekly status updates to the DOO
  • Maintain and update business expenses and manage tracking documents
  • Company property management
  • Assist DOO with various property management tasks
  • All other projects and tasks as required

Data Analytics

  • Analyze content performance analytics and SEO analytics, and provide recommendations
  • Manage all activities related to book sales management, including:
  • Ensuring all data related to book sales is up to date and accurate
  • Managing book sales and revenue tracking
  • Act as main contact with bulk book suppliers and follow up on orders
  • Manage all sales and revenue tracking for Ritu brand and bci brand products

Qualifications/Experience:


  • Postsecondary education and 12 years of work experience
  • Design and digital marketing savvy
  • Experience creating and managing design, content, and WordPress website
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including editing and proofreading
