Cashier - Langley - Nature's Fare Markets

Description

This is a full-time position working up to 24 hours/week. We require availability for varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, and at least one weekend day.

As our part-time cashier, you are an integral part of our customer service team. Your role involves promoting positive, lasting relationships with our customers. This position also requires accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be trained in and possess extensive product knowledge on Nature's Fare Markets items.
• You will manage customer wait times to ensure efficient and accurate processing and bagging.
• You will maintain your area department as clean, organized, and attractive for our customers.
• You will take the time to get to know our store's customers and want the best for them; explaining promotions, product features, and our loyalty program.

We Are Looking For:

• A passion for local, organic, and sustainable food and natural supplements.
• To provide excellent customer service and positively engage with all customers.
• A strong desire to contribute to people's health and wellbeing.
• Cash handling experience is a plus.
• The ability to work flexible schedules (weekends, holidays, early evenings, and days).
• The ability to stand for long periods of time and deal with exposure to hot and/or cold environments.
• The ability to lift 22 kg.
• This position works as part of a team, jumping in to help ensure team members are supported and our products and store look their best.
