The ST-Coordinator within the Packaging Technical (Maintenance) Department participates in the development, planning, tracking, and optimizing of preventive maintenance tasks, evaluation of packaging processes, and equipment modifications.
Liase with Packaging Technical Supervisors, Project Leaders, Mechanical & Electrical Technicians, Packaging Technicians, Contractors and other internal stakeholders to analyse packaging systems and processes in order to make continuous improvements, while focusing on Safety, Quality and Productivity.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to execute maintenance engineering project activities.Data-mine equipment history using spreadsheets, databases, and other tools.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Participate in Installation Qualification and Operational Qualifications (IQOQ) for new and existing equipment and processes.
Develop and update Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) as required.
Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), SOP's, and in full compliance with Safety & Regulatory standards.

Ensure personal adherence with all compliance programs, including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies and procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities and Experience
Must be enrolled in a recognized post-secondary co-op education program.
Sucessful completion of 2nd or 3rd year in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Possesses strong mechanical aptitude.
Excellent problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated ability to work as a team player, but capable of working independently on any assigned tasks.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point are essential. Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Access, and SAP would be beneficial.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements is beneficial.
