_ Responsibilities_ will include but not be limited to:
- Conduct analyses of air samples as required by designated methods.
- Communicate with clients to discuss projects or analysis results as needed.
- Method improvement and method development.
- Diagnose problems with instruments or methods.
- Maintain good laboratory housekeeping.
Required Skills:
_**- Educational background in chemistry.
- Experience in an analytical laboratory setting.
- Able to undertake work in a tracelevel analytical laboratory.
- Able to understand and execute all methodspecific quality control requirements.
- Familiarity with gas chromatography and/or ion chromatography and other instrumentation.
- Able to work well alone and with others.
- Good command of verbal and written English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, basic statistical analysis, and other commonly used computer software.
Other details:
_**Familiarity with air quality analysis methods will be an asset.
