JOB PURPOSE:


Reporting to the Manager IT Workplace Services, the IT Workplace Analyst is responsible for providing technical leadership and senior level support for the end-user computing environment within McCain Foods globally.

They will design modern workplace solutions by leveraging Microsoft Endpoint Manager deployment technologies. They will also provide leadership and technical expertise for computing hardware and managed print services.

They will participate in enhancement projects and service delivery engagements with 3rd party companies by acting as a technical expert.

They are also expected to be a technical assessor of risk, and they need to be great at translating between technical specialists and executive management.

They will advise business and IT leaders on industry trends and product capabilities to drive adoption and productivity benefits within the Workplace Services area.

They represent a key technical escalation point within McCain for IT workplace related services.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement enterprisewide modern management solutions based on Microsoft modern workplace technologies.
  • Provide technical leadership for regional support teams and 3rd party support groups on Workplace services technologies.
  • Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
  • Collaborate with other members of the WPS team, business analysts and architects to plan, design, develop, test, and implement solutions for a hybrid workforce.
  • Prepare and maintain a Microsoft modern workplace strategic roadmap.
  • Evaluate, benchmark, and build support materials for PC and multifunction printer hardware.
  • Produce powerful analytical reporting packages that facilitate and accelerate decision making and sustainable cost savings.
  • Research and evaluate a variety of software products before use in our standard operating environment.
  • Build and maintain enterprise software deployment packages.
  • Ability to influence and inspire stakeholders across the organization.

KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:


  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in a technical program for IT infrastructure management coupled with 45 years' experience operating in an Enterprise IT environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a crossfunctional team to solve technical problems.
  • Knowledge of analysis and reporting tools and the ability to build reports to drive decision making for operational improvements.
  • Strong knowledge of best practice operations within an Enterprise ITIL environment
  • Excellent analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well under pressure, change and ambiguity.
