Description

The Durham

Catholic District School Board is located just east of Toronto and is

renowned for providing Catholic education to over 22,500 students in 38

elementary schools, 7 secondary schools, and 6 continuing education and

alternative education centers throughout Durham Region.

POSITION:
CLINICAL PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER (PSW) SUPERVISOR

LOCATIONS:
Durham Region Long-Term Care Facilities

RATE OF PAY:
$30.00 per hour, plus four percent (4%) vacation pay

WORKING HOURS:
Hours dependent upon placement requirements. Total of 80 hours.

TERM:
Six (6) weeks (with potential for contract renewal)

START DATE:
April 22, 2024

The

Clinical PSW Supervisor provides supervision and mentorship to students

in the Personal Support Worker (PSW) program and ensures students meet

the expectations of the placement provider.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)

Preferred:

Current long-term care experience
