Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY
Check, stores and loads out trailer-load freight. Deliver customer cargo. Clean warehouse.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Counts, cubes, places on pallets and stores freight. Records on checkers tally.
Notes on tally when hazardous materials are received.
Tags freight according to marks/ports.
Operates forklift to load and unload freight.
Loads containers with cleared freight, making sure no additional discrepancies exist.
Performs preventative maintenance on forklift.
Checks and cleans equipment and warehouse/work area.
Deliver customer cargo.
Prepare trailer manifest for outbound cars.
Performs all other duties as requested.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

LICENSE:

Valid Local Driver's License.

PHYSICAL:

Operations - Manual dexterity to perform repetitive motion tasks on computer or handheld.

Ability to frequently twist, bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb on equipment, push/pull 50 pounds, crawl, lift and carry at least 80 pounds on a daily basis.

Able to withstand constant exposure to extreme weather conditions.
