Skills and experience for a brake press operator position:

  • Experience operating a brake press machine
  • Knowledge of various types of dies and their uses
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials
- ability to bend and twist frequently

  • Good problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Basic computer skills
  • Math and measurement skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent education
