    Job Overview:

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team to ensure the quality and safety of our custom machinery and material conveyance equipment. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting all stages of the production process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and identifying any defects or issues that may affect the equipment's functionality. It is crucial that our Quality Inspector promote a positive company image through safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of custom equipment at various stages of the production process, including raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
  • Inspect equipment for compliance with quality and safety standards, ensuring that it meets customer specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Inspect welded assemblies for adherence to design specifications and CWB standards.
  • Inspect painted components to ensure adherence to internal quality standards
  • Document inspection results and communicate any issues or defects to the appropriate department or personnel.
  • Recommend corrective actions for any non-conformities identified during inspections.
  • Collaborate with the production team to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
  • Provide guidance to company personnel to ensure adherence to quality processes and procedures.
  • Conduct final inspections before equipment is shipped to customers.
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure compliance to product quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and complete inspection records and reports.
  • Lead and/or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of our products and processes.
  • Always conduct oneself in a professional manner in alignment with Company values, including but not limited to language use, attire, and workmanship
  • In accordance with Company policy and relevant employment legislation, overtime and work outside of regular hours, and being on call may be required at the discretion of the company
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certificate preferred.
  • Familiar with welding, weld processes and weld defects
  • Experience with or knowledge of metal surface finishes such as paint and galvanizing.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects and non-conformities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, such as Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
