We are looking for someone to fill a position as an Ophthalmic Assistant.

As an Ophthalmic Assistant you will be responsible to perform a myriad of tasks including but not limited to the following:

• Taking complete and accurate patient medical histories.
• Performing vision and diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, Lens biometry, topography, OCT and visual fields.
• Preparing patients for surgery
• Assisting in patient scheduling
• Maintaining patient medical records by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and medical information.
• Doing regular inventory/ordering of supplies
• Protecting patients' rights by maintaining the confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information.
• Maintaining operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
