Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and offer drink recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Verify customer identification to ensure they meet age requirements for alcohol purchase
- Monitor customer behavior to prevent excessive drinking or disruptions
- Handle customer payments accurately
- Manage bar inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Experience
- Prior bartending or food service experience is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling and pricing drinks
- Effective time management for serving multiple customers
- Familiarity with restaurant procedures and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer interactions
- Capable of handling cash transactions responsibly
