We are currently seeking an
Assistant
Site Supervisor to join our vibrant and growing Edmonton team in a permanent, full-time capacity.


The Opportunity
Reporting to the Site Supervisor, the Assistant Site Supervisor has the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule construction on site. Complete/update four-week look-ahead schedules.
  • Conduct preconstruction, framing, prepossession, and possession meetings with our customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work site.
  • Keep quality control and quality assurance top of mind throughout the construction process and complete all required documentation on time.
  • Complete postpossession items on the deficiency report in a professional and timely manner.
  • Holding the trade base accountable to the scope of work
  • Install NG gas heaters and hoses in basement and garages.
  • Hang tarps on garage door openings.
  • Hoard basement stairwells and plug HVAC holes with insulation to hold basement heat.
  • Keep walks and driveways clear of snow and mud.
  • House, basement and garage sweeps
  • Lot cleans.
  • Pressure washing front entrance and driveways.
  • Install construction locks and safety signage.
  • Pump out the occasional lot and or basement water.
  • Sealing basement and garage floor cracks
  • Moving extra materials from site to site
  • Framing and floor sheathing repair
  • Drywall and paint repairs
  • Wall or floor squeak repairs
  • Provide assistance to the Interior Designer with moving/assembling furniture and Sales Centre displays
  • Notify Site Supervisor of any hazards, problems, or safety concerns.

The Person

  • Experience in building custom homes is considered an asset and we are keeping an eye out for those holding a Site Manager or CET Designation.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to provide a clean driver's abstract.
  • You consider yourself a selfmotivated and hardworking individual. Bonus points if you're excited about working independently in a fastpaced environment with mínimal supervision.
  • You must be organized and have the ability to multitask as you will be managing multiple projects at any given time.
  • Knowledge of building codes and safety codes is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal communication skills
