Your mission
Miller Maintenance Ltd.

(EML) is a company specializing in the operation, maintenance and rehabilitation of road networks and, in particular, it is responsible for managing the infrastructure of the A-25 Highway corridor in the Montreal and Laval sectors on both sides of the Olivier Charbonneau Bridge.


Reporting to the Director General, the Project Manager is responsible for the execution of projects in the areas of civil engineering works, such as paving scarification, asphalt concrete laying, repairs to structural elements of bridges and other structures, corrections of drainage systems, road infrastructure rehabilitation projects, and any other project to improve the infrastructure of Highway 25, while respecting the technical and quality requirements, the allocated budgets and the established schedules, ensuring the satisfaction of the client and the profitability of the project.


Your responsibilities

More specifically, its functions are as follows:

  • Participate in project estimation;
  • Control all phases of project operations;
  • Be responsible for controlling project costs and requests for quotations,
  • Analyze the various execution plans as well as the means made available for the realization of the site (manpower, equipment, materials);
  • Prepare detailed schedules;
  • Collaborate with superintendents, foremen, project manager, mechanics and customers;
  • Ensure the acceptance of the work; followup of receipts and acceptance checks,
  • Follow up with clients on the progress of the work;
  • Followup of payment invoicing,
  • Carry out internal inspections, planning and followup of external inspections and entry of inspection sheets
  • Carry out the administrative and accounting followup of the project(s);
  • Work on the preparation of compensation requests (additional work);
  • Ensure compliance with occupational safety standards; and
  • Carry out monthly reports,
  • And any other duties related to the job.

Your profile

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, equivalent experience may be substituted for the diploma;
  • Have at least 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Have a valid driver's license;
  • Good organizational and planning skills;
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate with others;
  • Demonstrate leadership;
  • Be able to meet deadlines;
  • Possess good negotiation skills;
  • Have a developed sense of autonomy;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook);
  • Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (an asset); and
  • Fluency in English (an asset).
