    The Role

    The successful candidate will be able to teach ENGR Engineering and Technology in Society, which is designed to provide an introduction to the practice of engineering, surveying its history and its current state.

    Within this course, the social and political aspects of engineering decisions will be illustrated by a number of case studies.

    Responsibilities


    As an instructor in the Engineering program, you will instruct students, facilitate learning and evaluate student progress in College Engineering courses.

    You will also be responsible for planning, organizing and managing learning activities and resources, providing academic advice to learners and maintaining quality learner-centered instruction.

    To Be Successful in this Role You Will Need
    The successful candidate(s) must have completed an earned degree in a major area of Engineering (minimum M.A.Sc. with Ph.
    D. preferred; preferably in electronics, electrical, computer or mechanical engineering), must have teaching experience at the post-secondary level and must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. Prior experience teaching similar courses would be an asset. A Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation is a requirement for this position.
