Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are running efficiently.
• Fabricate and weld machine parts as needed.
• Analyze machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on packaging equipment such as stick filling, pouch filling, and triangle/pyramid tea bags machinery.
• Perform equipment working audits to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
• Handle emergency maintenance situations promptly and effectively.
• Assist in operating various machinery as needed.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and cleaning protocols.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
• Fluency in Mandarin is an asset.
• Experience as a millwright is an asset.

Experience:

• Prior experience in industrial maintenance.
• Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ability to weld and fabricate machine parts.
• Proficiency in analyzing machine performance.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Mandarin fluency is an asset
