Truck Freight International, a subdivision of Paterson GlobalFoods is looking for a Logistics Coordinator who will be responsible for the planning and dispatching of drivers, trucks, and trailers.

Responsibilities:

To meet or exceed customer expectations while maximizing revenue per mile.
To reduce empty miles as much as possible resulting in increased revenues.
To provide relevant feedback to the General Manager on market changes / conditions and on driver performance.
Frequent communication with drivers and General Manager.
Negotiates freight rates with customers.
Other duties as requested.

Qualifications:

High school graduate
Previous experience in the trucking industry
Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
Excellent communication skills
Strong problem solving & decision making abilities
Knowledge of customs and border clearance processes
