Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide safety training and education to employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency response, and personal protective equipment
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures
  • Maintain records of safety inspections, training sessions, and incident reports
  • Collaborate with management to develop and revise safety programs based on industry best practices
  • Stay uptodate with changes in safety regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Safety Officer or similar role in a construction or industrial setting
  • Indepth knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations
  • Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop effective control measures
  • Excellent communication skills to deliver training sessions and interact with employees at all levels
  • Proficiency in using construction management software to track safety data and generate reports

Salary:
$26.00-$30.00 per hour
