We have an exciting opportunity for a
Human Resources Co-ordinator in Regina, SK.

This is a 1-year term, expected to last until December 2023.

In this position, you will be responsible for providing support to the Human Resources and Safety Department.


Your main duties will include:


Benefits:


  • Administering confidential benefit plans by reporting new enrollments, coverage changes and terminations (dental, health, pension). Responding to inquiries and educating staff on the plans.
  • Managing confidential disability claims, working closely with management and our benefits provider.
  • Preparing Workers' Compensation claims and other payrollrelated documents.

Payroll:


  • Providing data entry for payroll, coordinating training and data entering training records.

Recruitment:


  • Supporting a range of recruitment and onboarding activities including reference checks and testing. (Entry to midlevel positions).
  • Preparing employee new hire paperwork and related correspondence.
  • Maintaining the integrity of personnel files.

Safety:


  • Providing administrative support by competing monthly reporting and data entry of safety records.

Competencies for Success:


  • Business diploma or degree with a major in Human Resources and 12 years experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset.
  • Must be a selfstarter, with strong interpersonal communication, problemsolving and organizational skills.
  • Strong written communications skills are essential. A sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
  • Acting as a role model to support a positive organizational culture that is focused on building strong employee teams in a highly competitive environment.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check is required
