Description

Event Agents are for special events. Union band 1.

Assigned to events as needed and will report to the Events and Volunteers Manager or their designate.

Responsibilities

As a CKUA Event Agent, you will:

represent CKUA

- safeguard assets during events
- follow safety precautions dealing with securing the building and assets during and upon the end of the event, and lockup
- read and follow the event-specific checklist
- set up and/or take down event assets as needed
- remove assets from performance areas that pose a temptation for theft, as needed
- ensure that building safety protocols are followed by the event attendees
- support event organizers during their event

Work Location and Hours

Event agent work takes place primarily at the Alberta Hotel, CKUA's location in Edmonton, in the event spaces per the eventspecific checklist
Hours will vary according to the event, per the eventspecific checklist
Event agents must be present for the duration of the shift and cannot leave unless authorized by the Events and Volunteer Manager or their designate
