About the JobKey Responsibilities**- Supervise, organize and control the maintenance and technical workflow as well as support, guide and challenge production priorities and improve efficiencies including continuous improvements and analysis.

Accomplish maintenance HR objectives by selecting, training, assigning, scheduling coaching, counselling and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job performance.
Plan work schedules and vacations to correspond with production priorities and to improve the throughput of the equipment while maintaining good quality of the products.
Research, propose and implement projects to decrease energy costs and improve overall factory efficiencies.
Schedules repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
Responsible for budget for technical department including projects.
Update and manage site preventative maintenance program as needed.
Manage budget for maintenance/projects.
Coordinate, schedule outside contractors for the facility.
Ensure maintenance team and contractors are compliant with safety rules and facilitate training.
Participate in repairs and projects as needed.
Train maintenance employees for PM's and all maintenance functions.
Meets/exceeds requirements for food and employee safety.

About You

Licensed Millwright
Proficiency with microsoft and Maximo programs
Knowledge of budgets and financial statements
Supervisor experience preferred
Experience with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures
SAP experience an asset
Hours of work 8 hour shifts with 12 hours required from time to time
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Day and night shift required 50/50
Must be able to freely move around entire facility.
Customer Service Orientation help others to meet their needs.
Teamwork and Cooperation genuine intention to work cooperatively with others.
