Role Responsibilities:

Your proven ability to work independently and in a team environment is essential.

You will require a client service focus internally and externally, strong oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.

Mediation and facilitation skills would be an asset. A demonstrated ability to prepare comprehensive, clear, and factual reports is essential.

This role requires you to take part in internal and external training throughout the first year in order to meet the requirements of an Occupational Health and Safety Officer / Lead Investigator.

Qualifications:


A university degree in a related field plus four years of recent occupational health and safety inspection and investigation experience is required.

Additional equivalencies may be considered on a one-for-one basis.

Experience investigating fatal and serious workplace incidents is preferred.

There are six (6) permanent positions available at this time and the hours of work are Monday to Friday - 8:15am - 4:30pm for a total of 36.25 hours.

Working locations located in Red Deer, Edmonton, Grande Prairie and Fort McMurray.
