What You'll Do Day‑to‑Day

• Performs non‑routine and varied engineering assignments typically in areas of design, development, analysis, evaluation, testing, preparation of specifications, execution of field tasks and resolution of field problems.
• Receives minimal assistance and instruction on most assignments and solutions.
• Ensures compliance with government, organization and customer engineering standards.
• Independently evaluates, selects and applies a variety of technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making adaptations and modifications.
• Continues to develop knowledge of organization processes and customers.
• Works on special projects, as directed.
• Performs other related duties and tasks, as required.
• Utilizes existing and/or acquired technical expertise to find improved technical solutions to support the product life cycle/replacement of current Framatome technologies.
• Actively participates in solving technical issues identified by project management, business line management or by customer request with the objective to increase business opportunities for Framatome Canada Ltd.

Required Experience

• Project Engineering or Design Team Lead experience.
• OPG/BP Engineering Change Control (ECC) experience.
• Experience performing Engineering Design or Analysis (e.g., stress calculation, flow calculations, and safety analysis).
• Fire Protection and NFPA codes knowledge.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree (4 years) in Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience.
• Registered as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineering License (P. Eng.).
• Knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques and criteria.
• Good communication skills to comprehend and convey detailed technical data.
• Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Good problem identification and problem resolution skills.
• Displays informal leadership characteristics.
• Exhibits questioning attitude and practices self‑checking.
• Advanced level of specific software tools (CAD, FEA, CFD) and programming skills.

Total Rewards Package

• Salary: $90,000 – $122,000, and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
