Hiring Unit:

  • Department of Biology_

Position Summary:

  • Develops the BON in a Box website (PHP, HTML, CSS);
  • Maintains the database (MySQL, MariaDB) and conducts structural changes when necessary;
  • Collaborates with the GEO BON secretariat, the BON in a Box team and graphic designer;
  • Provides support to users of the website.
  • Updates the task board with details about your work's progress.
  • Editing Wordpress website.


Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities- Computer science student- Programming - HTML & CSS- Database query and management- Can come to work in-person at least two days/week at Penfield Biology Building and remote the rest of the time- Relevant computer science courses- Web development experience (including projects, contests and internships).


  • Minimum Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma 2 Years Related Experience
  • Hourly Salary:
