Lead Selling Sales Manager for our
Penticton store located at
3039 Skaha Lake Rd.


As a Lead Selling Sales Manager, you are responsible for driving sales and maximizing the store's profitability by creating a culture that enhances and maximizes the guest's shopping experience while managing the store's day-to-day operations.

You will achieve individual targets by successfully converting guest opportunities to realized sales, and create an inspirational, fun, and productive culture that delivers team member retention and performance.

As the Lead Selling Sales Manager you will:

  • Meet or exceed individual and store-established goals for sales volume, margin, performance indexes, conversion rate, average sale, and mattress per guest (MPG).
  • Forecast staffing needs and follow through on recruiting and hiring strategies to ensure optimal staffing.
  • Execute the implementation of corporate sales and marketing programs.
  • Coach and lead the store team to drive overall performance by attending and conducting weekly performance meetings.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop key pillars
- sales, visual presentation, and warehouse.

  • Evaluate the store team's productivity and performance and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Lead weekly and daily meetings, and training sessions in a manner which inspires sales team and ensures retention of key points.
  • Maintain and create a work environment that builds employee engagement.
  • Ensure the overall appearance and presentation of the store, both interior and exterior, and store operating protocols are in place to make it a great shopping environment for guests.
  • Identify potential guests and build strong relationships with existing guests.
  • Respond to escalated guest complaints promptly.
  • Understand, demonstrate, and ensure all Company policies and procedures are followed.
  • Acquire a solid understanding of the local market through community involvement.
  • 23 years of experience working in a supervisory/management position.
  • Proven success in previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proven track record of building highperformance teams and strong work relationships.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and the ability to learn inhouse computer programs.
  • A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Postsecondary education in business, marketing, or related field.
  • 35 years' experience in retail or hospitality management.

  • Exceptional mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Must complete and pass inhouse training programs on selling and product knowledge.

  • Must be available to work long, irregular hours standing, including days, evenings, and weekends.
