Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and monitor aircrew health issues; conduct aircrew and specialized medical exams (e.g., periodic health assessments) in line with official medical standards and timelines.
- Review and assign flight or dive restrictions; investigate and report on medical incidents involving aircrew or divers, including contributing to accident investigations (but not attending crash sites).
- Train Health Services staff in crash response; educate aircrew on aeromedical topics, hazards (e.g., CBRNE,) safety procedures;
