Job Requirements

ABSOLUTE MUST: Valid BC Drivers License for Van (Class 5 or 7) and be able to legally work in BC
Physically fit
Ability to lift heavy objects
1 year experience driving a Van or similar type of vehicle
12 years of experience in a construction setting (preferred).
No smokers
Team players, positive and collaborative attitude

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

Driving Van
Demonstrate confidence navigating the roads and using GPS to get to site.
Assist with general labour as needed.
Must be Punctual with a strong work ethic.
Should be familiar with how to safely work in and around construction sites.
Driver's responsibilities include loading and unloading materials. You should also be able to safely drive and operate the vehicle in all weather conditions.
Transport various materials from construction sites to garbage dumpster.
Unloading tools, prepare necessary materials and set up required equipment.
General clean up of the site; sweeping, shovelling, removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials and overall site maintenance.
Provide labour support as needed for specialty crew.
Follow project instructions and provide assistance, as required.
