Job Summary

Responsible for creating and executing the Canadian digital marketing efforts to meet overall business objectives. Build consumer journeys and experiences through Salesforce Marketing Cloud and various advertising platforms. Design and implement digital marketing campaigns using advertising and social media platforms. Evaluate market conditions, trends and competitor data to implement digital marketing initiatives that meet yearly company and category goals. Create reports on activity and provide insights on a regular basis.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and deploy digital Trade and Consumer marketing campaigns on time and on budget for the Canadian market as it relates to company and category goals
  • Support the Canadian sales teams and key accounts as needed with specific marketing materials or activities
  • Coordinate marketing activities with a strong focus on digital marketing as part of a comprehensive Canadian 360 marketing plan

Salesforce:

  • Build journeys in Salesforce for consumers and customers for different Hagen brands
  • Plan, create and implement a marketing strategy
  • Create relevant campaigns to increase ROI, brand awareness and engagement
  • Assist the Sales team with various digital marketing request as needed
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining all Trade Marketing customer databases to ensure effective Business to Business communications
  • Able to provide reports and statistics as required, monitor key online marketing metrics to track success
  • Develop social presence and advocate brands effectively

Advertising coordination:

  • Coordinate with sales team and clients on marketing and advertising initiatives
  • Work with the graphic design team to help deliver content that meets client specifications; this includes newsletters, advertisements, etc.

Brand Advertising:

  • Work alongside brand teams to identify a target market, follow brand image, and create and maintain a digital marketing campaign using advertising platforms and social media tools
  • Increase brand awareness, impressions, reach and conversions
  • Provide quarterly report information to use for the summaries of marketing initiatives
  • Plan and organize promotional presentations for internal/external use
  • Work with brand teams to keep calendars updated and on track

Reports:

  • Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
  • Prepare keyword analysis reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing campaign data

  • Understanding of Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok ads and Google Analytics
  • Basic understanding of SEM, SEO and PPC
  • Computer proficiency
  • Creative and analytical abilities
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite
  • WordPress and Shopify knowledge an asset
  • Basic HTML knowledge an asset
  • Knowledge of ecommerce an asset
  • Knowledge of Amazon ads an asset
  • Expertise in newsletter creation, content creation and customer database management
  • Ability to lead digital activities through the entire project lifecycle: strategy, planning, execution and analysis.

Education/Experience

  • Marketing or related business degree
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience executing paid social media campaigns
  • Ability to communicate in English and French on a daytoday basis

$45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
